Monday - Friday: Start times between 6.00AM & 9.00AM

Pay Rate: £11.44 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties

As a Van Delivery Driver, your duties will involve but not limited to:

• You will be making 50-100 delivery drops per day
• Driving various delivery vans to multiple delivery locations in a safe and efficient manner
• Performing pre-trip and post trip inspections of vehicles
• Ensuring delivery vans are loaded safely and securely.
• Using and operating a hand scanner/PDA
• Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Communicating effectively with Dispatch and customers
• Maintaining accurate records of shipment, mileage and fuel consumption
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

The following skills are essential for this role:

• Hold a valid UK License
• No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills.
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to speak/read a certain level of English.
• Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required.
• Ability to work under pressure and to adhere to business KPI's

Desirable Experience

• Experience Driving any commercial vehicles will be beneficial for this role
