Finance Business Partner

Mansfield

Hybrid Working - 2 - 3 days on site

6 Month Assignment

£250 - 300 per day DOE



This role will support the Support Services by providing management accounting and decision support services, including financial planning, analysis, commercial support, performance monitoring, and reporting

Specific:

• Act as Finance Business Partner to support organisational design and management teams.


• Conduct financial planning and analysis:
  
  
  
  • Develop and maintain financial models for business planning, Corporate Plans, and Government Spending Reviews.
  
  
  • Produce departmental budgets and forecasts, participate in accountability reviews.
  
  
  • Maintain and develop management information reporting systems.
  
  
  
  


• Monitor and report performance through monthly management accounts, commentary, and variance analysis for various stakeholders.


• Provide commercial support:
  
  
  
  • Design pricing models for commercial opportunities.
  
  
  • Produce, review, and critique business cases.
  
  
  • Support contract tender processes and conduct financial appraisals.
  
  
  
  


• Assess and manage risks, embed risk management into the business.


• Support financial reporting and audit requirements, ensuring compliance with HM Treasury guidelines.

General:

• Manage personal performance, meet individual, team, and corporate objectives in line with organisational values and behaviours.


• Identify and implement changes for continuous improvement, drive efficiency, effectiveness, and value for money


• Maintain and develop positive stakeholder relationships.
