**The Accounts Coordinator role**
The responsibilities for this role will include:
* managing the full cycle of the Subcontract Ledger including order, payment and CIS compliance processes;
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, resolving queries and delivering best in class customer service
* Twice weekly payment runs for all Subcontractor Payment Certificates;
* Assist in cash management by ensuring adherence to payment process and cycles with Subcontractors and sites;
* Calculation and payment of CIS Tax to HMRC each month;
* Administration of Subcontractor accounts within the finance systems;
* Other ad hoc projects as required assisting Finance and other departments.
**Your profile**
You will be a team player who can work closely with your peers. You will have
a high level of numeracy, excellent attention to detail, and strong time
management and problem-solving skills. Ideally, you will have experience
working in an office environment, possess good Excel and Word skills, and be
educated to a minimum level of GCSE or equivalent, with passes in Mathematics
and English.
* Educated to a minimum GCSE standard, including Maths (essential)
* AAT or further education (desirable)
* Previous experience working in a Finance environment (essential)
* Ability to manage competing demands, adaptable, hands-on, and detail-oriented (essential)
* Effective and knowledgeable communicator, able to relate to both internal and external staff, suppliers, and stakeholders (essential)
* Previous experience and understanding of Subcontractor AccountsAccounts payable (desirable)
* Construction and contract knowledge and background (desirable)
* Strong technical skills, including Excel (essential)
