Job Description
Our client in NW Houston is seeking a Front Office Assistant
Location: Jersey Village
Hours: 8am 4:30pm
Compensation: $19 - $20
Front Office Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, providing a positive first impression and addressing inquiries.
- Handle incoming phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Manage appointments, reservations, and schedules, ensuring accurate and organized calendars.
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, document preparation, and mail handling.
- Disseminate information to visitors and callers, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Respond to customers via email.
- General Accounts Payable and Receivable; journal entries, payment application
- Order Entry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with visitors and colleagues.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and approachable demeanor for creating a positive visitor experience.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, appointments, and front-office tasks efficiently.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including answering phones, assisting visitors, and managing administrative duties.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in record-keeping, scheduling, and information dissemination.
- Basic proficiency in office software and phone systems to effectively carry out front-office responsibilities. Quickbooks is a Plus!
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected situations with composure.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting a positive image for the organization.
