Employer Description Our client is in the Industrial Automation & Instrumentation Industry. Job Description We are seeking a Junior Computer Technician to join our clients team and provide technical support and maintenance services. This role is ideal for a proactive individual passionate about IT and eager to gain work based experience. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, set up, diagnose, and repair PCs and other hardware and software components. Test and repair faulty IT equipment, including switches, gateways, routers, and PCs. Assist with basic networking and IT support tasks. Install, configure, and maintain software applications. Perform troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software issues. Prepare basic network and IT support reports. Document detailed and timely technical notes and fault reports. Qualifications Matric minimum N5 CompTIA A and CompTIA N (or similar networking certification). CCNA certification is advantageous. CompTIA S (Security) Certification is a plus. Skills Proven ability to assemble, diagnose, and repair PCs, as well as handle customer service support cases. Experience working with computers in a technical or support capacity. Exposure to networking principles and IT support tasks. Basic programming knowledge to assist with troubleshooting and IoT integrations. Familiarity or interest in IoT devices and their applications.
