We need a self-driven individual with: Experience : Relevant experience as a Storeman or in a similar role, ideally within mining, construction, or industrial sectors. Organizational Skills : Strong inventory management and organizational capabilities. Technical Savvy : Computer literacy is essential. Language Proficiency : Fluent in English and/or Afrikaans with excellent communication skills. Mobility : Valid Drivers Licence and access to reliable transport. Availability : Willingness to work weekends and overtime as required. Your Responsibilities As a key team member, you will: Receive & Inspect : Verify incoming materials and ensure accurate documentation of deliveries. Store & Organize : Manage materials, tools, and equipment to maintain a well-organized and efficient inventory system. Material Issuance : Supply project teams with requested materials and ensure proper usage tracking. Inventory Management : Conduct regular stocktakes, monitor levels, and maintain accurate records. Safety Compliance : Ensure materials are labeled and stored in line with safety and environmental standards. Monitor Condition : Identify and report damaged or expired materials. Logistics Support : Assist with logistics planning to meet project deadlines. Collaboration : Work closely with procurement and project managers to ensure material availability. Housekeeping : Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storage area. Material Handling : Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
