Are you a Business Development Manager or similar with a background in Waste Management looking to take your career to the next level? Do you have a proven track record in building customer relationships, and driving new business opportunities? On offer is the opportunity to join a family-owned business with over 62 years of experience in providing ethical, reliable, and sustainable waste management solutions who specialise in recycling, security shredding, and waste-to-energy services.

The day-to-day responsibilities include handling customer enquiries, performing waste audits, delivering tailored quotations, building and maintaining relationships with prospects and existing clients, managing the sales pipeline, and collaborating with the commercial team to identify new business opportunities. You'll also work closely with depot managers and customer care account managers to ensure the best possible customer experience.

This role would suit an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in the recycling or waste management sector, looking to further their career in a growing family-run company that values integrity, long-term relationships, and sustainability.

The Role:

• Handling customer enquiries, performing waste audits, and delivering tailored quotations
• Managing the sales pipeline, generating leads, and updating monthly conversion reports
• Collaborating with the commercial team and depot managers to secure new business
• Monday to Friday - Hybrid working
• Site and Client Visits

The Person:

• Business Development Manager with a background in Waste/Recycling
• Full UK Driver's License
• Commutable to Marston Magna, Yeovil
