Job Description

Water Meter Technician
  • Contract Type: 6-month Fixed Term
  • Salary: £27,453 Per Annum
  • Location: Hadleigh, Suffolk
  • Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Join our team as a Water Meter Technician and enjoy a role that offers great autonomy and the opportunity to work outdoors, regardless of the weather. This position is ideal for someone with excellent customer service skills who enjoys managing their own workload while having the support of a large organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Obtain accurate readings from water meters.
  • Carry out meter exchanges.
  • Collect data relevant to water usage.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all interactions are handled professionally.
  • Manage daily tasks efficiently, working independently across various locations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Valid driving licence as the role requires travel.
