Job Description
Our client is a leading provider of cutting-edge wall system solutions, specializing in fire stopping, dry lining, and innovative partitioning systems. With a strong reputation for quality, compliance, and client satisfaction, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in fire stopping or dry lining to join their growing team.
Responsibilities
Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for fire stopping and dry lining projects.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and building standards.
Evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress, manage variations, and ensure profitability.
Provide expert guidance on cost-effective solutions, value engineering, and material selection.
Produce accurate reports, ensuring transparency and accountability for all stakeholders.About You
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in fire stopping, dry lining, or related construction fields.
Comprehensive understanding of fire safety regulations, building codes, and dry lining systems.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Membership in RICS or CIOB is advantageous.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering results under tight deadlines.What's on Offer
