Job Description

PMLD Teaching Assistant:

Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a caring and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with PMLD. This would be an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate. This is at a school near to Blackburn.

The Role:

Assisting with personal care
Working with challenging behaviours
Building rapport with parents and staffPosition Details:

Location: Blackburn
Position: PMLD TA
Hours: 8:30am-4pm
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Relevant experience working with children
Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
