Full Time - Permanent Contract

The role
As a Residential Childcare Apprenticeship Trainer, you will be working with a caseload of apprentices within Residential Children's Services, supporting, coaching and mentoring them through their apprenticeship qualification up to Level 5 Management. As this is a hybrid role, you will have the flexibility of working from home and facilitating 121 training sessions in the workplace. Whilst working from home, you will be supporting your learners over Microsoft Teams whilst prepping them for your face-to-face visits.
You will be delivering the full apprenticeship standard which will include Functional Skills, however there is a huge amount of support internally to help with this, along with a suite of modern technologies which will save a lot of time on admin!
The best part, you are only responsible for supporting and developing learners, meaning that all of the typical tasks which take up a huge amount of time are managed by a different team!
Package
Up to £37,000 starting salary (depending on experience)
Extensive bonus scheme (£10K OTE) based on individual performance (paid quarterly)
Company share incentive scheme (another bonus based on company performance)
CPD, Career progression and Development
Up to 34 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays)
Additional day off for your Birthday

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
Solid occupational competence in a Management role within the Residential Childcare sector (Minimum 2 years)
Hold a minimum Level 5 Residential Childrens related qualification
Functional Skills L2
Ideally hold either a recognised Assessors qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA etc) OR a recognised teacher qualification.
