Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Electrical Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Carrying out electrical safety checks
* PAT testing
* Planned and reactive maintenance and repairs
* Undertaking some installation works.
* You must be able to work to high levels of health and safety
* Understand and be able to work to building statutory requirements
* Ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
To be successful for this Electrical Engineer role you must have:
* The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector.
* Qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and
* 18th Edition
* Ideally you will have test and inspect 2391.
* You should have a full, current, driving licence
* Be IT literate for record keeping
* Have good customer service skills
* Physically able to carry out the fuller duties detailed in the job description.
