Position: Part-Time Lecturer – Social Sciences (Criminology)
Dates: 8th January 2024 – 11th April 2024
Location: Taunton
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Lecturer to teach Criminology within the Social Sciences department. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about criminology and social sciences education, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lectures and seminars in mainly criminology.
Develop and assess course materials to meet learning objectives.
Support students with academic advice and guidance.
Contribute to course evaluations and improvements.
Schedule:
Monday: 9:00 AM – 12:45 PM
Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Thursday: 11:00 AM – 3:10 PM
Qualifications and Experience:
A relevant postgraduate degree in Criminology or a closely related field.
Previous teaching experience, preferably within criminology or social sciences.
A passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential.
