Job Description
Our client in Manchester M22 is a new, purpose-built Elderly Care Home that is a part of a longstanding charity with a fantastic reputation in the industry.
The company can offer Care Certificate and NVQ training for Carers looking to develop and progress in their careers along with fantastic employee benefits.
* £12.00per hour+
* 8-8 shifts Days or Nights
* Full and part time roles are available (Full time is 36/48 hrs )
Key duties for Care Assistants will include:
* Supporting residents with personal care tasks such as washing and using the toilet
* Assist residents with mobility issues, always using safe manual handling practices and using equipment where needed
* Work within a team of other Carers to provide a high quality of person-centred care
* Assisting with food and drink throughout the day
Desirable for Care Assistant candidates:
* Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant within a care home or nursing home environment
* NVQ’s within health and social care (Preferred but not essential)
