Automation Help Desk Technician

Are you mechanically and technically astute with expertise in automation software? Then this role is for you. Requirements: Education: Diploma or degree in Mechatronics , Automation Engineering , Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation or a similar role. Hands-on expertise in Siemens and Beckhoff systems. Knowledge of industrial drive systems and troubleshooting hybrid mechanical and automation issues. Certifications : Millwright Key Skills: Automation Software Proficiency: Expertise in Siemens and Beckhoff platforms. Advanced troubleshooting skills in PLCs, SCADA, and motion control systems. Drive System Knowledge: Strong understanding of servo drives, VFDs, and communication protocols (PROFINET, EtherCAT, Modbus). Basic Mechanical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical components and their integration with automation systems. Communication: Excellent customer service skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Fluent in English Problem-Solving: Capable of diagnosing and resolving multidisciplinary issues quickly and efficiently. Additional Requirements: Willingness to work flexible hours to support customer needs. Occasional travel to customer sites or HQ in Italy for training and support.
