Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a proven track record in Corporate Payments to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on business analysis expertise and demonstrate a deep understanding of payment systems, processes, and related regulatory requirements. Experience within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) or Treasury and will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that corporate payment processes are optimised and aligned with organisational objectives. Key Responsibilities: Analyse, document, and validate business requirements related to corporate payments. Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and end-users, to gather and refine requirements. Evaluate and enhance existing payment processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop detailed business and functional specifications for system changes and enhancements. Facilitate workshops and meetings to define business needs and align on solutions. Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions. Create and execute test cases, ensuring deliverables meet business and system requirements. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on corporate payments, advising teams and stakeholders on best practices. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies. Provide training and support to users post-implementation. Hands-on experience with Treasury systems or Investment Banking solutions. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant certifications like CBAP are a plus). 5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst , with a focus on corporate payment solutions. Proven experience in CIB , Treasury , or related financial services sectors is advantageous. Strong understanding of payment systems, transaction processing, and associated technologies (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, ISO 20022). Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements for corporate payments. Proficiency in business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies. Experience with Agile and Waterfall project delivery frameworks Key Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Proficiency in creating comprehensive documentation, including BRDs, FSDs, and process models. Adaptability to evolving project requirements and priorities. Solid understanding of technology systems and their integration with business processes. Added Advantages: Familiarity with digital payment platforms and emerging technologies in the payment landscape. Advanced Excel, SQL, or data analysis skills.
