Sales Assistant

Immediate starts available - Entry-Level Roles. Located in Central Leicester!

Our client, based in central Leicester, is a leading sales and marketing company; they are seeking passionate individuals to join their expanding sales team immediately to work with leading UK brands providing excellent face-to-face customer service and sales, engaging with the British public (B2C) where they live (residential environments/Door-to-door) as our client believes this is the best way to get potential customers engaged with the brand you will represent.

Within this varied role, you can expect to represent an exciting portfolio of clients, examples include; energy efficiency clients, helping customers combat climate change and improve their homes and carbon footprint; and charities and non-profits, helping them raise money for animals, children and other amazing causes. You will have to help potential customers sign up for monthly donations, subscriptions, government backed schemes, one off purchases or enter raffles, lotteries and competitions.

Role Responsibilities:

Sales assistants are primarily tasked with engaging potential customers in person, delivering exceptional customer service to drive revenue and sales for the client. Moreover, they are expected to collaborate effectively with fellow team members to create a positive and motivated work environment. As part of their responsibilities, they will also assist in on-boarding new sales assistants, aiding in their integration and help getting them started and in time potentially becoming a coach or mentor to help them make more sales and get more out of the role. Lastly, you will engage in skill sharing sessions within the office, to help other team members and listen to others to create better sales strategies, pitches and develop skills in other areas such as business development, marketing and brand awareness.

No prior experience is required to be successful in this role as our client offers both shadowing of more experienced sales team members and classroom based coaching with a supportive team to guide you through every aspect of the role.

  • Full-Time Availability: Commitment to working full-time hours (at least 5 full days a week, Mon-Sat)
  • Excellent English Speaking Skills: Clear communication is key, you must be able to talk with customers and our client in fluent English
