Driving license and access to own vehicle is essential for this role depending on location

Domiciliary care is a very rewarding carer as you will work with clients on a 1-to-1 or 2-to-1 basis, allowing you to build longstanding professional relationships with each client.
The main duties of a Domiciliary Health Care Assistant will include:
- - Providing personal care, including but not limited to - washing, dressing, nutrition and hydration
- - Providing social, emotional and physical support to clients
- - Domestic duties such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linens
- - Meal preparation
- - Support with activities
- - Support with medication needs
- - Companionship
The ideal Domiciliary Care Assistant will:
- - Have an NQV Level 2 or above in health and social care or be willing to work towards one.
- - Have previous relevant training to the job role or be willing to attend training.
- - Have previous domiciliary healthcare experience (not essential)
- - Have a DBS check dated within 3 months or be prepared to register for one
- - Be flexible, reliable and committed
