What will you be doing?

You will increase the market share of our Building energy Services business by identifying new business leads/opportunities and developing successful solutions that meet customer's needs, deliver value and provide a positive impact on the environment. Your primary focus will be onsite energy and decarbonisation services solutions (D&B, O&M, EPC) for the Public Sector (Healthcare, Education, Justice and Defence) whilst also supporting our multi-onsite services tenders and ongoing renewals.

You will work closely with a number of internal stakeholders from our Technical, Operational, Financial, Legal and HR teams to co-design and put forward winning solutions.

Salesforce is our CRM system of choice, and you will be expected to maximise its functionality to manage interactions with existing and new customers in order to retain, expand and secure new business.

This opportunity has a focus on selling decarbonisation solutions (delivery) rather than the development of business/strategic plans (consultancy)".

Responsible for the growth of the Building Energy Services pipeline.

The project leadership of cross-functional teams to enable the delivery of solutions/projects and targets.

Secure new business according to personal/sector targets.

Maximise strike rate by developing winning proposals and prioritising opportunities accordingly.

Utilising Veolia systems, processes and Salesforce to ensure sales management information is up to date, accurate and enabling new business growth.

Build relationships with senior customer stakeholders to foster innovation and ecological transformation.

Lead key account development to drive organic growth of services.

Engage in customer-facing activities, nurturing relationships and promoting Veolia's services.

Manage and grow a healthy new business pipeline in key markets.

What are we looking for?

Experienced in the energy sector

Prior BD experience is desirable

Prior Operational and Technical knowledge is desirable

People management

Finance models

Stakeholder management

Communication skills

Ability to (or existing understanding) develop a broad understanding of Veolia's offerings

Decision making

Influencing and negotiation

Experience in building a new business pipeline with customers.

Developing proposals and winning tenders and bids.
