Job Vacancy: Mechanical Plumber – Facilities Management
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Mechanical Plumber looking for a new opportunity in Manchester?
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Plumber to join a well-established and highly reputable facilities management company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in plumbing and heating systems, particularly in healthcare, education, and prison settings.
About the Role:
As a Mechanical Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a variety of plumbing and heating systems, including boilers, unvented hot water systems, expansion vessels, packaged water heaters, and hot water cylinders. This role will involve working across healthcare, education, and prison contracts, ensuring the highest standards of service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on plumbing and heating systems, such as boilers, unvented hot water systems, expansion vessels, and more.
* Diagnose and resolve faults in plumbing and heating systems, adhering to industry regulations.
* Work across a range of contracts, including healthcare, education, and prison facilities.
* Maintain accurate records of works carried out and ensure minimal disruption to services.
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate:
* City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering.
* Solid experience working with plumbing and heating systems, including boilers and unvented hot water systems.
* Previous experience working in healthcare, education, or prison environments is highly advantageous.
* A strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.
* Ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
* Full UK driving license.
