The complexity of the initiative, within a FTSE 250 business, will allow for large-scale problem solving, group wide impact assessment and supporting the delivery of an enablement project to future proof the business.
What you'll be doing at a Data Modeller at Greencore?
Develop and maintaining an understanding of data across key business areas, systems, processes and business relationships. You will analyse data sources and lineages to refine the design for a new Data Platform. Assisting with Proof of concepts to refine design patterns and collaborate with design review boards
Create high quality & comprehensive project documentation; maintaining data dictionaries, source to target mappings and data requirements documentation
Work closely with Data Architects and Business SMEs to mature a corporate data model, communicating technical detail to technical and non-technical audiences, providing support to development teams on Modelling best practice
Collaborate with the Data Architects to ensure the opportunities and impacts of new features are fully exploited and understood
Assist our Data Governance initiatives, systemising Data Lineage and Data Quality Rules and refining data capture
What we're looking for?
We are looking for previous work experience in large scale Data Warehousing projects in corporate environments ideally from manufacturing industries. This will include:
Experience with GC Confirm software (Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, ADSL2B, Synapse, PowerBI & DataBricks)
Experience with Data Modelling Tools
Strong proficiency in SQL, PySpark and Database Design
