Director of Sales

Set in the heart of the buzzing York city centre is our beautiful 4-star DoubleTree by Hilton and we are looking for an equally special individual to lead the sales strategy.

Passionate about positioning DT York as a leading venue in York centre we need an experienced individual to join us on this journey and lead the sales initiatives and activity.

Summary of Role:

• Responsible for all sales and marketing activities
• Responsible for driving UK and international inbound sales revenue for the Hotel from all segments with a key focus on Groups, MICE, Leisure, Travel Agents, and Retail.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and brand
• Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of feeder markets and design adequate strategies to drive new business in both new and emerging markets
• Hold personal powerful relationships with both Customers directly and via various DMCs and Associations for maximum destination exposure
• Deliver revenue against individual sales target and budget

Proven experience in sales leadership with excellent problem-solving capabilities

Experience:

• Hospitality Sales: 2 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

• Frequent travel on business is required including overnight stays
