Senior Building Surveyor - Pathway to Partnership for the Right Candidate
An independent construction consultancy with over 40 years of industry expertise is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their accomplished team of 22, comprising Building Surveyors and Architectural Technologists.
This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious and self-sufficient Senior Building Surveyor to take on a pivotal role with clear progression towards partnership as part of a structured succession plan.
The Senior Building Surveyor Role
The successful Senior Building Surveyor will manage a wide range of services, with a strong emphasis on contract administration and specification writing.
Working primarily on commercial property projects, including high-profile clients such as the Royal Mail, you will operate within a collaborative environment that actively supports your professional growth and leadership development.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering contract administration and specification writing services across various commercial projects.
Building strong relationships with a diverse client base, including leading commercial sector names.
Collaborating with a highly experienced team while independently managing project responsibilities.
Taking on increasing leadership responsibilities, progressing towards partnership.
The Ideal Senior Building Surveyor will have
Qualifications: MRICS accreditation (preferred but not essential) and a RICS-accredited degree.
Experience: A solid background in a construction consultancy environment.
Skills: Strong proficiency in contract administration, specification writing, and excellent written and verbal communication.
Attributes: Ambitious, self-sufficient, and eager to progress within a supportive team.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
Hybrid working: 2 days in the office per week
