Science Teacher Opportunity – Starting in January 2025
£162 - £242 per day
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Science Teacher to deliver dynamic and engaging lessons at a secondary school in Derby. This role involves teaching across key stages and inspiring curiosity about the natural world through biology, chemistry, and physics.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that cater to diverse student abilities.
* Utilise practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance learning.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Promote critical thinking and a scientific mindset in the classroom.
* Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
* Strong knowledge in one or more areas of Science.
* Excellent organisational skills and a passion for teaching KS3 and KS4.
