About the Role:

As a Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods. Your responsibilities will include:

• Route Planning: Developing optimal delivery routes to minimise costs and maximise efficiency.
• Load Planning: Assigning loads to vehicles, taking into account capacity and delivery deadlines.
• Driver Scheduling: Creating and managing driver schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Monitoring and Tracking: Tracking deliveries in real-time to identify and resolve any issues.
• Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving problems.

The Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience: Previous experience in transport planning, preferably within the refrigerated transport industry.
• Skills: Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge: A good understanding of transport regulations and geographic knowledge.
• IT Proficiency: Proficiency in transport planning software and Microsoft Office.
• Attitude: A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to work as part of a team.
