Job Description

We are currently seeking an Accounting Assistant on behalf of our client in Huntingdon. This is a permanent position with a part-time working pattern, 20 hours a week. The annual salary for this role is £14,000. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for a range of duties including accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

Responsibilities:

Matching receiving documents with vendor invoices for material purchases
Assisting with monthly A/P payment run and reconciliation
Reconciling credit card statements
Monitoring the ageing of accounts and collecting past due accounts
Assisting with tax filings
Providing customer, sales, and supplier support
Performing other related duties, as assignedRequirements:

Must have an understanding of bookkeeping functions
Computer proficiency with MS Office including Excel
Detail orientedThe successful candidate will be detail-oriented, with strong computer skills and an understanding of bookkeeping functions. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is required for this role. You will join a dedicated team and have the opportunity to contribute to their success.
