Mechanical Design Engineer (Progression to Management)

In this position, you will oversee large centrifugal projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients to understand their needs and utilizing CAD software to design or modify existing designs accordingly. You will also be responsible for assessing design factors such as operational efficiency, material usage, and cost.
The Role
Managing the design process from concept to completion
Investigating all design factors such as function, materials and operational efficiency
Preparing project engineering data such as BOMs
Overseeing the work of a small design teamThe Person
Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
Experience with heavy engineering design - machine automation/pneumatics/hydraulics
