What you’ll be doing...

The Corporate Systems Group (CSG) is responsible for strategy and implementation of systems solutions that support ERP (Enterprise Resource Platform) activity for supply chain, you will partner with business stakeholders, development managers to develop and execute the product roadmap for wireless device supply chain. This individual will lead the design and delivery of large-scale, complex ERP programs in the areas of SAP Order-To-Cash, Inventory Management, Material Management, Finance, and Master Data.

The primary function of this role is intended to take a broad-based view of business processes across core functional domains for domestic US business entities to build solutions in SAP Retail. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your deep understanding of the core processes to ensure that SAP is architected and built to fit to standards. You will be integrating with cloud applications to support corporate roadmap for customer, employee as well as enterprise product domains. You will also work closely with leadership and peers across Verizon’s Global Technology Services (GTS) and the Global Supply Chain business (GSC) organizations. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Leading medium and large SAP projects, executing all approved deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Developing the technology product roadmap which supports the business strategies, and other strategic transformation programs to drive cutting-edge experiences, revenue growth, and cost optimization.

  • Designing End to End (E2E) solutions to complex business problems, leveraging Human Centric Design methodologies to ensure adoption and usability.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in Agile delivery in an ERP landscape.

  • Experience with SAP functional module in retail space.

  • Experience with ERP master data, business processes and technology stack using SAP suite of products and its integration points. Applications include SAP Retail/ECC and Cloud (e.g., BRIM, Ariba, IBP).

  • Experience in SAP processes and customization, ECC, ABAP, SQL, SAP Workflow/Release Strategy, SAP IDOC, SAP LSMW, Fiori/UI5, SQL Connectors.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Formal training and/or certifications in the SAP product family.

  • Experience working in a high volume, fast-paced changing environment.

  • Experiencing managing across multiple time zones.

  • Experience in the Telecommunications industry.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

  • A solid understanding of relational databases (SQL experience a plus).

  • Experience in an Agile Environment with a solid understanding of roles.

  • Experience crafting UAT test plan & scripts.
