What you’ll be doing

As Principal Architect, you will build deep, consultative technical relationships with our business customers and become a trusted advisor. You will work closely with sales teams, technology partners, product managers and design authority leaders to identify and qualify opportunities for cellular technologies to solve our customer’s most pressing business challenges.

Responsibilities will include :

  • Architect connectivity solutions leveraging cellular technology to enable business outcomes for our customers.

  • Present solution recommendations to clients at various levels of their organization.

  • Identify new use cases that can lead to repeatable solutions across customers.

  • Share market insights, client requirements and champion new solution strategies with our product team.

  • Become a subject matter expert in cellular technologies within the Verizon Solutions Architect community.

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience

  • Experience architecting cellular networks for enterprises or government organizations

  • Experience with CBRS wireless technologies, distributed antenna systems (DAS), small-cell-based in-building systems, private and hybrid network architectures.

  • Understanding of 3GPP Specifications, specifically Rel-15/16

  • Broad knowledge of Enterprise networking technologies, including Wi-Fi, software-defined networks and network-embedded security.

  • Ability to think strategically and analytically and analyze data to make appropriate business decisions or recommendations to shape business strategy.

  • Experience managing multiple projects under tight timelines and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer and team-oriented work environment.

  • Willingness to travel throughout the US and abroad.

  • Valid driver's license and passport.

Even Better If You Have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s degree in engineering

  • Advanced network certifications and experience.

  • Experience working with cellular network integrators

  • Familiarity with technology from OEMs like Nokia, Ericsson, and Samsung.

  • Experience with IT/OT use cases.

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

  • Be results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency. Be proactive and flexible.

  • Ability to quickly learn, and eagerness to work with emerging technologies.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $129,000.00 and $239,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
