Job Description
Experience / Qualifications / Knowledge: The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years experience, track record, and be able to demonstrate Project Management capabilities, knowledge and know-how in Financial Services, this requirement must be considered part of the submission for this role. Change Management Experience. Experience in managing full-cycle projects. Matric plus degree in Computer Science or related field PMP® Certified (PMP in good standing) Required computer literacy levels in the MS Office suite and applicable Project Management Applications. Key Responsibilities: Technical understanding of databases, data warehouses, data lakes, cloud platforms and data pipelines. Familiarity with data analytics techniques, data visualization tools (like Power BI, Tableau), and Business Intelligence. Basic understanding of how data is collected, processed, and transformed (ETL processes) is essential for understanding project requirements and dependencies. Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and how to ensure data security. Ensuring proper data management, stewardship, and accountability practices across the project lifecycle. Keeping the project aligned with any regulatory requirements or internal company policies related to data. Defines problems and scope parameters, organizes meetings, assigns responsibilities, develops schedules and milestones, identifies structures of authority and processes for decision-making, and determines resource requirements. Understand and articulates the expectations for the deliverable/s and ensure shared understanding within the team Establishes and maintains relationships with all stakeholders and manages resources throughout. Measures performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. Reports on status including key performance indicators, cost, timing and staffing. Troubleshoots and manages activities to ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards. Perform risk management to minimize risk or change risks to opportunity. Identifies and resolves obstacles to completing initiatives on time and within budget. Recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions when necessary. Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule, and cost. Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation. Identifies and resolves difficult complex issues, reports, and escalates to management as needed.
