Permanent Quantity Surveyor Opportunity – Grangemouth
Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? Our client, a well-established and respected construction company, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering and building projects in the East of Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee cost management for civil engineering and building projects from inception to completion.
Prepare and review tender documentation, cost estimates, and budgets.
Monitor project financials, including cost control and forecasting.
Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule.
Manage contractual agreements, including negotiations and variations.
Prepare valuations, progress reports, and final accounts.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a focus on civil engineering and building projects.
Strong understanding of construction cost management and contract administration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable but not essential.
