The Role

The Ecommerce Trading Manager will play a pivotal role in driving digital performance within our client’s growing Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team. Collaborating across teams, you will lead strategic promotional campaigns, optimize website performance, and ensure a seamless customer journey. Your expertise with Shopify Plus and data-driven insights will be instrumental in enhancing customer engagement and maximizing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead promotional strategies and the merchandising calendar, coordinating major campaigns like Black Friday.
• Collaborate with Retention and Acquisition teams to align on trading initiatives and seasonality-focused sales strategies.
• Manage product launches, ensuring pricing, promotions, and subscription models are competitive and effective.
• Optimize the Shopify Plus store, including product merchandising, content, and marketing strategies.
• Analyse website performance, identifying growth opportunities and implementing conversion rate improvements.

Essential Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in a trading role.
• Proficiency in Shopify Plus, with hands-on experience in managing high-performing ecommerce sites.
• Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and SEO practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
