The EU Supply Chain Manager will direct and coordinate the operational supply chain functions within Europe. Working with our Sales, PMO teams and the wider Global supply Chain functions, this role will be heavily focused on regional sourcing, purchasing, and planning & execution, ensuring best practices in business processes, collaborating with regional stakeholders while aligning to the global strategy.


Individual Accountabilities
  • Management of the Europe sourcing, purchasing, planning, forecasting, order management and logistics processes within the Supply Chain team.
  • Ensure monitoring and management of inventory reports weekly; drive best practices for inventory management and reporting.
  • Manage timely HW deployments against client deployment schedule(s) and forecasts.
  • Initiate and manage continuous improvement activities; making recommendations to improve operations & processes, increase efficiency, and reduce COGS to increase profitability.
  • Work with strategic partners to monitor performance & compliance to Coates’ contract and SLA’s; initiate corrective and preventative action (CAPA) plan(s) as required.
  • Manage & maintain KPIs across supply chain functions within market, ensuring performance aligns to and meets/exceeds Global Supply chain KPI’s, client SLA requirements, and policies.
  • Oversee and manage Supply Chain functionality within ERP; manage system reconciliation with Strategic Partners & Finance to ensure accuracy of data for inventory management.
  • Manage engagement into Global Supply Chain team for Planning & Sourcing activities; measuring & reporting on delivery performance.
  • Ensure sourcing strategies align with the company’s financial goals and are consistent with Coates’ operational guideline(s).
  • Manage the risks associated with the volatility of both supply and demand and work with stakeholders to communicate; identifying a mitigation plan when necessary.
Role Requirements
  • English language proficiency required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain management.
  • Sourcing including Contract negotiation and management.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • A complete understanding of manufacturing and logistics processes and associated cost drivers.
  • Utilizes benchmark KPI data for continuous improvement.
  • Highly developed LEAN, automation & technology skills.
  • Support a best-in-class Supply Chain vision and drive transformational change.
  • Demonstrable, exceptional change management and communication skills.
  • Commercial Acumen.
