Job Description

Director, Quality Assurance and Control for Apparel, Accessories and Footwear For an international and listed company, we are looking for the E.M.E.A. Director, Quality Assurance and Control for Apparel, Accessories and Footwear. Reporting to the WW Head of Global Quality, the resource manages the Quality Team and is involved in global seasoning meetings, product reviews and functional activities. He/she leads the Team of Quality Inspectors for on-site inspections with visits to the factories and schedules them according to product performances, implements QA driven procedures and quality standards. He/she will report monthly the analysis and progress on quality KPI to the suppliers. Furthermore, the candidate will supervise the laboratory testing process on raw materials and finished products, ensuring calendar needs and quality activities in cooperation with Sourcing and Product Team. Finally, the resource participates in seasonal risk assessment for the product reviews and manages QA budget for travel and consulting services. The ideal candidate has a perfect knowledge of Quality Management systems and proven technical skills for footwear, clothing and accessories, along with strong communication skills. Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury products and in Quality are required, as well as local and international travel. Fluent English is mandatory.
