MIG welder/Fabricator (Aluminium)

Advanced Recruit are recruiting for a multi skilled MIG welder/fabricator for a well established company based in the West Midlands. This role is ideal for someone looking to further progress their career withing a forward thinking company.

Job Duties

* MIG welding and fabrication working on aluminium and mild steel products for various sectors of the highways industry.

* Welding on products such as high gauge structural and sheet metal based.

* Be required to fabricate the products from start to finish using saws/cutting tools and other equipment.

* Using an overhead crane to move metal around the shop floor.

Experience/Requirements

* Ability to read welding drawings

* Experience working aluminium is essential

* Expereince working on mild steel products with various thickness and size.

* To be able to work as part of a team

* To maintain a clean working environment

* Overhead crane experience would be massively advantageous.

The package

* Starting pay range is £15.50 - £16

* Shift Allowance on the afternoon shift

* Full time role within the company after a 12 week temporary to permanent contract.

* Working hours are based on 2 shift rotation, 06:00 - 14:00 Monday to Thursday, Friday 06:00 till 12:00, 12:00 - 18:00
