Design & Technology Teacher – Shropshire
Start date – January 2025
Part-time, long-term supply position
TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a mainstream secondary academy based in Birmingham that are looking for a committed Design & Technology Teacher on a long-term basis. The secondary school continues to be rated Good by Ofsted. The school prides itself on inclusivity and high standards.
The part-time role starts in January 2025 and the school is looking to hold interviews immediately. The successful Design & Technology Teacher would be working across both KS3 & KS4, 3 days per week ensuring the work is planned, prepared and delivered to a high standard whilst following schemes of work.
The Senior Leadership Team and the Head of Department will offer excellent support to the successful Design & Technology Teacher and will provide an encouraging and supportive environment.

Applicants need to have the following:
QTS
Experience teaching Design & Technology up to KS4.
Excellent classroom management
A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
Instructors are also encouraged to apply as well as educators working towards QTLS.
Early Career Teachers are also encouraged to apply.
All our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance.
