Being a Project Scanning Associate offers an opportunity in retail providing workplace independence, hour flexibility, job consistency, and some physical activity.
What does a Project Scanning Associate do?
ScanScape is now hiring temporary, part-time Project Scanning Associates (PSA) to perform in-store data collections at local retailers to complete a special annual project. The store types will include grocery, drug, and mass merchandise stores. We work with major brand retailers like Walmart, Kroger, Hannaford, Target, Albertsons, Walgreens, other national chains, and small independent retailers - right in your area.
Each Associate will receive paid virtual training (videos and calls) for the project. Project Scanning Associates (PSAs) use a downloadable app, on their personal device, to scan barcodes (using the phone's camera function) in stocking locations throughout each store, averaging anywhere from 15 - 25 hours per week depending on store size and project requirements. You will work each stocked section of products through the whole store performing a series of measuring and UPC scanning. Thoroughness and timeliness are critical to the data we deliver to our clients. In exchange for dependability and quality-driven action, our Project Scanning Associates are given the comfort of independence in the workplace with hour flexibility! If you'd like to play a part in the retail landscape, please read on!
Qualifications:
Candidate must be able to work in multiple retail environments both independently and as part of a team. You could be asked to travel up to 2 hours to complete the project in other locations. Required to work each week from January through March until the project is completed.
