Senior IT PMO

Our client who are in the Telecoms space currently seeks an IT PMO (Project Management Office) Specialist to join their dynamic team on a 6-12 month contract.

Duration: 6-12 Months

Job Purpose:

The IT PMO Specialist will manage and oversee the execution of IT projects within a telecommunications environment. With a strong background in telecoms and project management, the individual will ensure successful delivery of IT initiatives by establishing robust project management frameworks, processes, and reporting structures, aligning with strategic business goals.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in IT project management within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience in managing large, complex IT projects in a fast-paced, telecoms-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, etc.).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid experience in portfolio management, resource planning, and risk management.
• Telecoms industry knowledge, including technical infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously while ensuring quality outcomes.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
