Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Project overview

New cloud-based software platform for the Payment solutions in the #Retail industry. #API oriented platform will form the foundation of a new retail ecosystem for our customers with a new approach to the Point of Sale, store solutions, and core backend integration running from the #Azure cloud.

Location: Velizy, Paris (On site), Full time employment

What to do:

• Design test scenarios
• Set up environment
• Document software defects using Jira
• Implement automated testing features
• Support the automation of end to end testing and/or systems integration/automation test scripts
• Support the maintenance of the regression testing suite
• Perform load and stress tests
• QA tools on a daily basis, such as Selenium, jMeter, Postman
• Perform automated data comparison across different systems
• Debug failed automated test.
• Work in the close cooperation with the BA and developers

You will be successful if:

• Have 5+ years of commercial QA/QC experience
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate
• Hardware testing experienced
• Experience with all the mentioned above responsibilities
• Network knowledge
• Understanding of the testing approaches and methodologies
• Experience with the test automation using any type of functional testing software solutions (preferably Selenium)
• Have C# (or Java) and SQL programming skills
• Experience with supporting system testing/integration/deployment activities
• Knowledge of Jira / XRay for test case & execution management
• Experience with the Git version control system
• English (Intermediate or higher)
• French native

Desirable requirements:

• Experience with cloud technologies (MS Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Understanding of containerization (Docker)
• Experience in load and stress testing
• Experience with jMeter, Postman
• Experience with the NoSQL databases (Redis, CouchDB)
