Director – Infrastructure & Private Debt Product Specialist – Paris

We are partnered with a leading and well-established European Asset Manager with a long-standing track record in the European Private Debt space. The firm have completed over 300 deals across their diversified product suite of Infrastructure Debt, Corporate Debt, Real Estate Debt and Capital Solutions investment strategies. The firm have bucked the trend of 2024 and had a strong fundraising year, helped by their fully aligned investment groups that have a wide range of investment solutions to cater to investor demand. More recently, the firm have diversified their investor base and now have both comingled funds for institutional investors and semi-liquid fund structures to tap into private wealth and retail investor channels. With that, they are looking to appoint an excellent Debt Product Specialist Director (9 years’ of highly credible experience) who can operate as the conduit between the investment teams and fundraising team as the subject matter expert to; influence product strategy, drive fundraising momentum and play a large role in proactive LP management during fundraising. This is a high-profile commercial role, responsible for evolving the bridge between investment teams, fundraising teams (internally & externally) and clients. This role will ensure that the firm’s private assets strategies are clearly articulated, competitively positioned, and effectively communicated to the market. This individual will take a key role in the design and preparation of new funds, managing the sales processes and driving fundraising momentum with external parties. The role will have a lot of autonomy, working within an established product specialist team and with support from junior resources to further the capabilities of the private assets fundraising business and work towards the launch of future new investment strategies. This position is based in the firm’s headquarters in Paris, ideally full-time. Candidate Skills, Experiences, and Personal Attributes: Over 9 years of experience in private assets, investment management, or related fields Strong understanding of private equity, infrastructure, real estate or private debt investment strategies Familiarity with global regulatory requirements for private asset funds (e.g., AIFMD, SEC regulations) An analytical mindset with a strong ability to interpret performance data and market trends Commercial leadership: the ability to influence and drive commercial discussions with Investors Detail-Oriented: strong organisation skills and to be able to manage multiple products and client deliverables at any one time Knowledge of fund structures, including limited partnerships and evergreen vehicles Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences Highly organised and effective at working cross-functionally within an organisation Fluent or Native English language skills (to note, whilst French or other European languages would be a plus they are not a necessity for this role) For more information, please reach out to Henry Pepperell on – Pepperellmilestone-sp.com
