Assistant Golf Course Superintendent NF-03

Initial Cut-Off Date: - Monday, January 27, 2025, applications must be received by 11:59 PM (EST). Subsequent referrals to the Hiring Manager will occur as additional vacancies become available or at the request of the Hiring Manager. Standard Qualifications: Incumbent must have extensive work experience that demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform work in all phases of golf course maintenance to include one-year experience equivalent to the next lower level. Incumbent also must have experience in irrigation system repair, modification and usage. Also, must have a working knowledge of the chemicals and equipment used to control fungi, insects, and weeds on the golf course. Incumbent must be certified, or certifiable as pesticide applicator by the Department of Defense, in the categories required for the use of the golf course. A Current and Valid Driver's License. Qualifications must be supported by your Resume and/or Documentation uploaded to your application. Failure to provide said information can result in your application being marked as ineligible. Highly Preferred Criteria: Possess a two- or four-year degree in turf management. At least one year of supervisory experience. Applicants who possess the Highly Preferred Criteria will be referred to management first for review.
