Opthalmic/Medical Assistant

Hire Resolves client is seeking an Ophthalmic/Medical Assistant join their dynamic team specializing in delivering exceptional ophthalmic care in Somerset West, WC. Responsibilities: Performing eye exams. Assisting with in-room procedures. Arranging operating lists. Ensuring equipment is sterile. Educating patients on treatments, procedures, and post-operative care. Supporting diagnostic testing such as visual field assessments and OCT imaging. Managing medical inventory and ensuring necessary supplies are available. Requirements: Previous patient education Previous medical work experience Nursing Skills Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care.
