Technical Assistant (Printer)

1. Communicating with clients to determine their painting requirements 2. Covering trim, floors, furniture and other surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths and other protective coverings to keep them free of paint. 3. Preparing surfaces to be painted by washing them, filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding them until theyre smooth 4. Applying primer and other sealers to paint surfaces to ensure that paint sticks to them 5. Statutory and safety requirements are ensured 6. Planned Maintenance & Repairs Risks are identified, and controls are implemented Daily checklists are carried out as per policy and procedure Daily compliance of the maintenance protocol is adhered to Completion of order form with quotations attached for items to be ordered Job card work issued done quick and efficiently Communication of jobs and paintwork done regularly Work completed to the highest standard of Urology Hospital Compliance with Health and Safety standards Tools requirement is assessed prior to the job and utilised correctly Problems and re-work / quality failures are reported as per procedure African males & females with disability Grade 12 Qualifications in practical general maintenance/Paintwork would be an advantage Knowledge of construction and especially paint products and usage off different products. Customer service skills The ability to work as part of a team Housekeeping Skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Proven practical skills in areas such as carpentry, decorating and painting. Knowledge of hand and power tools and other maintenance and safety equipment Time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
