Job Overview

Ensure the safety and security of Supply Chain Associates and assets of the company through Management of the Asset Protection Function/Team. Perform other duties as assigned.


This role will be based in our Brand-New State of the Art Customer Fulfillment Center located outside Charlotte in China Grove, North Carolina. This individual will report up to our Senior Manager, Asset Protection. Building will open in 2025, but we are looking to hire immediately. We are looking for someone who is very flexible with their schedule included evening and weekends.


Essential Functions

  • Provide support and back up for the Sr Manager, Supply Chain Asset Protection
  • Oversee all aspects of the Asset Protection operation in support of the company profit and service goals
  • Protect and monitor company assets, alarms, property, employees, and visitors through the enforcement of company and security policies
  • Hire, train and supervise the Asset Protection staff
  • Communicate with Facility management and Supply Chain Asset Protection leadership on shortage and security issues. Recommend solutions as needed
  • Identify causes of shortage within the building to include the investigation of possible internal and/or external dishonest activity
  • Secure and monitor the movement of trailers in and out of the facility
  • Responsible for the management of Asset Protection operations including but not limited to staff communications, staff balancing and work assignments, work scheduling and processing, throughput levels, and processing standards.
  • Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets.
  • Responsible for ensuring that departments meet or exceed performance requirements in the areas of safety, shortage, cost control, quality, processing standards, flexibility, reliability, customer service and execution to plan.
  • Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department
  • progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  • Manage and develop direct reports toward individual growth and performance excellence.
  • Ensure consistent, thorough timely communication to subordinates, peers and senior management
  • Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
  • Any other responsibilities management deems essential

Physical Requirements

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department

• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, color vision and climbing ladders

• Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job duties, including handheld electronic equipment.

• Frequently lift/move up to 50lbs
