Job Description

We are partnered with a top 25 ENR contractoris a leading contractor, renowned for delivering excellence across a diverse range of vertical projects, including commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office developments. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in bidding for projects exceeding $200M. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for large-scale projects, including commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office developments. Develop comprehensive bid strategies and present cost analyses to leadership, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals. Analyze architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and other project documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather insights and ensure cost estimates reflect project needs and complexities. Evaluate and negotiate pricing with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality. Conduct risk assessments and identify cost-saving opportunities during the pre-construction phase. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and material/labor costs. Mentor and support junior estimators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of estimating experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of bidding on projects valued over $200M. Expertise in vertical construction projects, including commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office sectors. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Bluebeam, PlanSwift) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
