Information Technology Support Technician

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced IT Support Technician for our client, a wonderful Managed Services organization in Seattle In this role, you’ll provide exceptional helpdesk and user support services to a variety of small-mid sized businesses This is a hybrid contract, 3-6 months possible conversion, and they are ready to start as soon as this week Perks: Opportunity to be part of a growing services company and possibility of converting to full time employment Mostly remote work, 70-80% of the time Hourly rate of $27-30/hr; benefits are available What you will be doing: Resolving inquiries for assistance through Zendesk, including troubleshooting and documentation Support and troubleshoot issues with Windows desktops, laptops and servers Administrate and configure Office 365 environments, including Active Directory/GPO, user account management, and cloud application support Communicate with users and clients about the progress of their issue resolution with a excellent level of customer satisfaction. Assist with projects such security (antivirus, endpoint protection, firewalls), upgrades, infrastructure deployments, etc. What you will need: 3 years demonstrated experience with successful helpdesk and end user support Expertise in Windows administration, including Office 365, Active Directory Group/Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, Group Policy Object (GPO), Azure Excellent interpersonal, communications, and customer service skills in working with both technical and non-technical users Exceptional documentation skills, preferred with Zendesk Experience with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise, Ubuntu) is a plus Experience with firewalls, endpoint management, and security is a plus Interested?
