Polestar are currently marketed in 15 global markets across China, Europe and North America. Let us describe the challenge we offer Polestar Head of Marketing Italy will be the primary point of contact for all marketing activities relating to the brand in Italy, collaborating closely with the Global team to ensure brand consistency across the markets. You will be responsible for successful new product launches and driving awareness for existing product line, strengthening consumer awareness and consideration of the Polestar brand. You will be responsible for aligning Sales and Marketing KPIs, focusing on building the brand while meeting sales targets. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director Polestar Italy and work in alliance with the Brand & Marketing at Polestar HQ. The role is based in Milan, Italy. Role includes the following areas : Marketing Strategy - Establishing and growing the Polestar brand in Italy and driving brand awareness, consideration and relevance amongst the target audiences - Create marketing campaigns that convert efficiently to sales to meet the company's sales targets - Put potential customers at the center by both creating awareness and stimulating a recognized need - Align Marketing KPIs with commercial KPIs: determine short and long-term KPIs, set quantifiable goals to track and measure success and being commercially accountable, drive sales conversion through commercially important lower funnel actions - Measure impact of specific communication activities to decide which activities are of higher value in terms of Return of Marketing Investment - Strong collaboration with local fleet and retail team as conversion drivers - Develop the marketing strategy in Italy consistent with the overall global marketing strategy and implementation roadmap, this includes new product launches, and driving awareness for existing product line, brand communications - Collaborate with the Polestar HQ marketing team to understand global and regional strategic initiatives - Drive digital-first, consumer-centric approach across all aspects of the business together with Global team - Lead, activate, and execute consumer communications across all channels. - Sustain a performance measurement framework across key platforms to drive sustainable growth and continuous improvement - Responsible for financial planning and reporting (paired with KPI framework to deliver campaign attribution/ROI measurement) - Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interest ultimately driving consumer conversion - Initiate, develop and execute event strategy Activation & Campaigns - Manage, challenge and coordinate external agency partners. - Deliver exemplary CX across all brand touchpoints. - Oversee CRM, Social Media and Community Management channels strong lead management - Explore and implement best in class practices from other Polestar markets. People - Lead, coach and inspire multi-functional marketing team including space operators - Lead agency partner relationships to drive the innovative, thoughtful work that meets overall objectives - Strong collaboration and coordination with global partners - Strong collaboration with local retail and fleet team Who you are - You are driven, committed, with proven experience in marketing communications and brand building, preferably with a marketing or business degree - Bachelor's Degree (Marketing or Communications preferred), Master's Degree and global experience a plus - Extensive knowledge of Italian automotive market and its target audience and specifications - Must be passionate and enthusiastic about sustainability and electric vehicles - Strong and proven leadership experience in marketing management - Extensive knowledge of marketing communications programs in traditional, digital and social landscapes - Proven experience with web, social, and paid analytics tools - Strong communication and interpersonal skills: a collaborative ethos and the ability to effectively interact with and influence a diverse group of people - Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills - Project management and multitasking skills; ability to effectively manage project tasks, timelines, and communications At Polestar, you will be part of a cross-functional and international team, with English as a natural language for written and spoken communication.
