Financial Controller

Our client, a well-established and reputable company in the manufacturing and services industry, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join their dynamic team based in Johannesburg South. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced financial professional who is passionate about working in a fast-paced environment, overseeing financial operations, and contributing to a companys growth and success. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving sound financial strategies. Duties: Review and prepare management accounts and financial reports for senior management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with management to create effective financial plans and targets. Ensure VAT and tax calculations and submissions are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to IFRS standards and assist with the implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Reconcile items on debtors and creditors accounts to maintain accurate financial records and ensure cash flow management. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: BCom Financial Accounting Degree. CIMA is required. Experience: At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in a stock/inventory environment.
