Data Engineer

Working with a renowned global corporation, we are searching for a Senior Data Engineer to join on an initial 6 months basis with visibility to extend. Role: Senior Data Engineer Location: Lyon Duration: 6 months (Extendable) Hybrid Working: 2 days remote per week Start Date: Jan/Feb 2025 Key Responsibilities: Work on the migration from Talend to DBT, ensuring seamless integration Design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines, schemas and processes for our new data warehouse Collaborate with cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality data solutions Support and advance data mesh initiatives, enabling decentralised and scalable data ownership Ideal Profile: 5 years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in modern data tools and frameworks Strong background in data architecture and development of end-to-end data solutions Proficiency in DBT or similar modern data transformation tools Proven ability to design and implement new data warehouses and schemas Experience with data mesh concepts and distributed data ownership Collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team Fluent English
