SEN Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are working closely with a SEN High school in Oldham who require experienced Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis with students who have complex ASD and ADHD . The site is based in the Failsworth area and is easily accessed by road and public transport links and offers free parking on site. The Role will consist of: Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN Providing behavioural support Creating a safe environment that allows children and other students have fun, learn and succeed Academic support The Ideal candidate: Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis OR/ experience of supporting those with complex needs in a care setting Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education and special needs Position Details: LOCATION - Oldham (OL9) POSITION - SEN Learning Support Assistant CONTRACT TYPE - Temporary MINIMUM DAILY RATE - £90-110 HOURS - Full time Monday - Friday 8.30am -3.30pm START DATE - January 2025 To be considered for this role, you will have to register with Prospero Teaching and complete a Child DBS which is on the update service, unless you already have one.
